Sponsorship and Disclosure Policy
Effective date: May 28, 2026.
Purpose
This page keeps personal sponsorship, nonprofit support, clinics, in-kind help, and public acknowledgments clear before any partnership is promoted publicly.
Material connections should be disclosed
If a sponsor, brand, gym, product, service, or organization provides money, travel support, equipment, free products, discounts, or other meaningful support in exchange for promotion or public acknowledgment, that relationship should be disclosed clearly near the related content.
No unsupported claims
Sponsor or product content should not make unsupported performance, health, medical, recovery, nutrition, scientific, financial, or outcome claims. Any claim that requires evidence should have evidence before it is published.
Personal sponsorship and nonprofit support are separate
Support for Orry’s personal training, travel, camps, equipment, recovery, or competition preparation is separate from support for The Mat Association. This website does not issue charitable tax receipts. Nonprofit support should go through the nonprofit’s official channels and current legal/tax process.
Public acknowledgments
Public sponsor mentions, logos, photos, testimonials, quotes, and media assets should be reviewed before publication. A conversation or contact-form message does not create permission to use a logo, likeness, quote, university mark, team mark, nonprofit mark, or sponsor asset.
Content independence
Sponsorship should not require false praise, inflated results, unsafe training advice, hidden advertising, or conflict with research, school, coaching, family, nonprofit, or athlete-safety boundaries.
Corrections
If a disclosure is missing, unclear, outdated, or inaccurate, send a note through the contact form so it can be reviewed and corrected.
